Every student's musical journey is unique, but one thing remains the same—consistent lessons lead to the greatest growth. Our membership options are designed to help students build momentum, stay motivated, and enjoy steady growth with lessons that fit their goals and schedule.
Whether you're looking for weekly instruction, a more flexible schedule, or occasional lessons, we'll help you find the option that fits your goals and lifestyle. Lessons of 30, 45, and 60 minutes are available for all membership types.

Our most popular option. Weekly lessons provide the consistency that leads to meaningful growth. It's the best option for students who want to build skills, stay inspired, and make steady progress—one week at a time.

Need a little more flexibility? Our twice-monthly lesson option is a great fit for students with busy schedules or those balancing multiple activities.

Need the most flexibility? Individual lessons are available without a membership, making them a great option for trying a new instrument, preparing for a specific performance, or fitting music into an unpredictable schedule.

Weekly Membership is designed for students who want the consistency and momentum that come from meeting with their instructor every week. Your membership reserves a regular weekly lesson time on your instructor's calendar.
Flexible Membership is designed for students who need a little more flexibility in their schedule and includes two private lessons per month.
We encourage students who are able to commit to a weekly schedule to choose the Weekly Membership, as consistent attendance and regular practice are among the strongest predictors of musical growth.

Your Sonic Labs membership is about more than just your lesson time. Membership gives you a consistent place in our program, ongoing instruction and support, and the resources you need to keep making progress.

Curriculum and learning materials included in our program
Practice resources and personalized practice goals
Access to your assignments through the MyMusicStaff Portal
Student showcases and recitals
Priority and discounted tickets to special member events and workshops
A dedicated place in our program and your instructor's schedule

Definitely. We understand that schedules and goals can change. You can change your membership level as your needs change.
If you start with Flexible Membership and later decide you'd benefit from weekly lessons, you can upgrade to Weekly Membership. You can also move in the other direction if your schedule changes.
We'll help you make the transition as smoothly as possible.

Weekly Membership students reserve a consistent weekly lesson time with their instructor, helping create the routine and consistency that leads to progress.
Flexible Membership students can reserve the same days/times each month, for example “the first and third Tuesday of every month at 4pm”. Or if more flexibility is needed, your lessons times can be scheduled month-to-month as you confirm your availability. -
Yes. Membership may be canceled at any time with 15 days' notice before your next scheduled tuition charge.

Yes. We understand that vacations, extended absences, and life changes sometimes require a break.
After six consecutive months of enrollment, members may freeze their membership:
For a minimum of 2 weeks
For a maximum of 8 weeks
Once per calendar year
14 days' notice is required to freeze your membership
Tuition payments are paused during an approved membership freeze.
We'll make every reasonable effort to preserve your regular lesson time while you're away. If scheduling changes or enrollment growth make that impossible, we'll work with you to find the closest available time when you return.
A membership freeze is different from canceling and later re-enrolling, so you will not need to pay another enrollment fee when you return from an approved freeze.

Yes. Practice is an integral part of the learning process, and your instructor will provide weekly practice goals appropriate to your level and goals.
Your assignments will be available through the MyMusicStaff Portal, so you and your family can easily refer back to what you're working on between lessons.

Yes. Student showcases and recitals are part of the Sonic Labs experience and are included as part of your membership.
Participation is encouraged but never required. We want performances to be an opportunity for students to celebrate their progress, build confidence, and share what they've been working on.
